The community should be delighted to hear that another OFFICIAL Battlefield 3 Announcement has been accidentally leaked. Oscar Carlen, an employee at DICE posted his resume on the web. To the surprise of the community, it states that he has been working on lighting for the games "Mirrors Edge 2 and Battlefield 3." Isn't that interesting, two game confirmations in one go  . As you should notice the "2009 - present" has been changed from "Mirrors Edge 2 and Battlefield 3" to

exactly... if not damaging, it will help because its reassurance to all us pure BF fans that they ARE working on it... and hopefully they will take notice at some of the more logical and good idea's for the game... as we want/need something that is better than bf2 but has the same playability... imo, its not about campaigns, its about a group of people who have the same interests getting together for a bloody good fragging... with the odd troll to statpad or queue jump... but i dont mind... c4 solves that problem...

| it's nothing but vaporware at this point, there has been NO OFFICIAL word on it yet... it's probably being worked on but until an OFFICIAL announcement is made I'm not buying into any hype. It will be 2 to 3 years before we see it.. and the way Dice has been going lately it will be dumbed down to cater to the console masses, I personally don't believe at this point that we will see a battlefield PC dedicated exclusive ever again, not when they can generate squillions of dollars by releasing on multiple platforms. I think battlefield 2 was an anomaly in that they won't be able to capture it's essence again, I'm really sick and tired of these dumbed down titles like heroes, bad company, modern warfare 2, they're all good if your a cheese eating 13-18 year old highschool boy but they don't even come close to the multi player explerience that is Bf2.

And BF2 wasn't as good as BF1942. And yes, no official word from DICE/EA, but there has been plenty of high level leaks to get the ball rolling.
