Battlefield 3, as most eager BF3 fans now know, has been officially denied by DICE, but they state they have not forgotten about the hardcore PC gamers, so if the next Battlefield isn't called "Battlefield 3," then what could it be? Maybe it will be a continuation of BF:BC except on the PC of course. Or, once again a MMOFPS? This certainly wouldn't relate to the other Battlefields that we are so accustomed too either. It is possible though.

| EA have never done an MMO. I'm hoping they keep this tradition.

Who knows, it might be a good financial decision because of their current economic state (bad!) Just look at how much money Blizzard makes per month just from WoW.

If EA/Dice is going to do a MMO and I have to pay a monthly subscription then I better see new content every week (guns, vehicles, maps etc...)
But I hope its not an MMO, I just want Battlefield 3

I don't really have any opinions because I think an MMO would be kind of cool, but I don't want it on the scale of WoW though. Basically you find a server you want (with thousands or hundreds of people) and you duke it out. Then there's a bunch of new content all the time.

| I personally would like an mmo. just think of those urban fights with all those people. I really liked planetside but really wanted it to be more realistic. very good battles though when there was a highly contested piece of land everyone wanted. Driving up on a big battle was a sight to behold.
