As some of you may have already seen, there's a video floating around the internet depicting footage from BF:BC2, but is based in WW2. It is most definitely the Frostbite engine, just look at the tank in this picture:
If you have played BF1943, you will easily recognize it as on the Imperial Army's tanks. Towards the end it cuts to someone talking over game play. It then ends abruptly with a BF:BC2 intro flash.
If you watch closely, you can lightly make out the copyright date at the bottom of the screen, which is 2009. For such a recently new video, you'd think it would have "2010" in the bottom. This video is probably fake and we're still waiting on an official announcement for the leaked footage.
Battlefield 3 Will 'Absolutely Blow Everyone Away'

A new article surfaced today with an interview between gamingunion.net and the former DICE CEO Fredrik Liligren stating that Battlefield 3 will be pretty much unbelievable.

Patrick Bach, a DICE representative, stated recently that BF:BC2 is not trying to compete with the popular CoD:MW2 game released in Novemeber, 2009. But instead, he states, "To me it's not beating, it's showing that you can do things differently and to a high quality while delivering both a single-player and multiplayer game." And that EA sees it as a goal to beat out Activision's popular game and take back the FPS world with BF:BC2 and the newest entry into the popular Medal of Honor series. Discovered this on Twitter from 'Demize99' Aka Alan Kertz, who is a Senior Designer at DICE over in stockholm. I believe I see Sandbags and several other interesting features of that rendering.. and is that a shooting range target there? There may be hope with this one guys! Looks alot more like something From BF3!, unless it's just a render of the Frostbite 2 engine, either way, it's something!
